Two Final Mixes. One Approved Sound.

Every completed mix is delivered in two high-resolution versions created from the same approved mix.

Loud Reference Mix

A competitively loud version targeted around −10 LUFS integrated, giving you a finished-feeling version for critical listening, sharing with collaborators and comparing against commercial releases.

Mastering-Ready Mix

The same approved mix delivered without the final loudness processing, preserving dynamics and appropriate headroom for your mastering engineer.

There is no arbitrary LUFS target applied to the mastering-ready version. The mix is allowed to sit at its natural level with healthy peak headroom and without final limiting used simply to increase loudness.

Same mix. Same processing and creative decisions. Two files prepared for two different purposes.

Analog + Digital

The best of both workflows.

Modern digital mixing provides extraordinary precision, automation and recall. Analog equipment offers something different—character, movement and interaction that can become part of the sound of a mix.

We use both.

Select analog processing is incorporated where it benefits the record, including Audioscape G-Series bus compression as part of my mix-bus workflow.

Analog processing isn’t added simply because it’s available. If it makes the record better, we use it.
